Friendly v Fosseway BC - Tues 22nd Aug

On tour, Fosseway BC - Leicestershire - started their tour with a match against 24 members of South Cliff, a number of whom were social bowlers. The six rinks played 10 ends had a tea/coffee & biscuit break with a raffle before playing a further 10 ends.

The match was played in a very good spirit with lots of conversation and enjoyment for those who were watching on what was a very nice late August afternoon.

The outcome saw Fosseway winning on four rinks, the aggregate score being 106 to 88.

Fosseway made a number of presentations to their best and worst performing rink and made a donation to the club’s facilities redevelopment. Organiser, Pauline V thanked Fosseway for a very enjoyable game and wished them well for the remainder of the tour
