Club Mixed Triples - Final

Gill, Pam & John H made a good start winning 6 of the first 7 ends to lead 8-1 against Tony R, Julia & Phil. By end 9 the gap had narrowed to 2. However the team skipped by John H steadily accumulated wins by 1 shot to open up a six shot lead by the start of end 14 . The last four ends saw them move forward to 19 shots against 9.

This was an excellent match with some high quality bowling; on the day Gill, Pam & John H were worthy winners winning 13 of the 18 ends.

So the two competitions so far this season have featured the Hortons facing each other in both finals with Julia securing the pairs with Phil and John, Gill & Pam the triples.
