Bowls England - Club Triples

South Cliff members Steve & Richard Lonnia and Peter Bailey faced a Nafferton triple at home this evening on a dry evening over 18 ends. After winning the first two ends South Cliff established a 2-0 lead. The Nafferton team won the next 7 ends to lead by 10-2. South Cliff hit back and over the next 2 ends they got back on even terms. After 11 ends all square 10 all. Going into the last end there was one shot in it, the advantage being with Nafferton 16-15. A very tense last end followed with Nafferton taking it by 1 shot. After 18 ends Nafferton won 17-15. The spectators enjoyed some excellent bowling with the result in doubt until the last end.
